Fitness for everyone

The Studio at Snap Fitness offers group fitness training for all ages and fitness levels including Kickboxing, Martial Arts, Belly Dancing, Hawaiian Dance, Yoga for Women, and Vinyasa Yoga.

What should I wear?

  • Dress comfortably.
  • Socks or bare feet for yoga and most other classes.
  • Clean separate indoor only gym shoes for boot camp.
  • Your own yoga mat is always a good idea, though we provide clean ones for you to use.

Dance:
  • Hawaiian Dance
    A great class for all ages & fitness levels. Come in and learn hula basics and traditional Hawaiian dances during an 8-week session. Enjoy this class with your daughter, mother, and even grandmother! Don't let bad knees or a bad back slow you down. The gentle motions of the hula work wonders on arthritic joints.

  • Belly Dance Fusion
    Belly dance is a great way to get exercise while having fun. It's a journey of feminine discovery for ladies of all ages, and anyone can try it. Explore the beginning techniques of hip, core, and arm movements, combined with motion steps to create simple but lovely choreography. At the end of your 6 week lesson you will have completed a small routine that you can perform for your family and friends!

    Belly dance is not jarring to the joints and movement starts out slow and deliberate. It isolates the core muscle groups, which are critical to body strength. The nature of this dance form lends itself beautifully to women of all shapes and sizes. You are never too old or young to dance. Be a part of something exciting and exotic!

Martial Arts:
  • CapoeiraCardio
    CapoeiraCardio provides a combination of cardio, core conditioning, strength, balance, agility, flexibility, and coordination. CapoeiraCardio is a never boring, high calorie-burning program incorporating the music and dance movements of the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira. A fast to learn format for weight loss, body toning, and general fitness for people of all ages.

  • Cardio Kickboxing
    A hybrid of boxing, martial arts and aerobics that offers an intense cross-training and total-body workout. With a blend of intense exercise routines that strengthen the body and mind, while decreasing stress and honing reflexes.

  • Yoga - New You for Women
    The Studio at Snap Fitness invites you to a practice designed to transform your body and your world. In a slow-paced, caring atmosphere of acceptance created by everyone working together, this class will emphasize basic yoga postures, breath, and condition.

    A cardio-intensive practice that links breath and movement in a free flowing sequence, this class is designed for those who want to work up a sweat and challenge themselves both mentally and physically. Come to sweat, enjoy music, Intermediate to advanced levels recommended.

The Studio features an all wood bamboo floor which provides exceptional performance while doing our part in helping protect our environment.
